Anything that is multiplatform is better that for example most companies
stuck in WindowsNT, because the crap they bought only runs on NT.

It is cheaper because the people who made it decided it is a fair amount
to charge for the effort they put in. This is not bread, which in theory
is regulated by the government but we know it isn't. Your product your
price, simple as that.
