[GLUG-chat] Eclipse plugins with gentoo

Hi all,

I am not sure if this is a eclipse problem or gentoo problem. I am
moving from netbeans to eclipse. When I try and install a plugin
eclipse3.0  downloads it fine but bombs when it tries to install it. It
says that on the "Install Location" dialog that I must select a
location. The plugin has a red mark next to it and selecting add site
doesn't work. It brings up a file selection dialog box but selecting a
folder does nothing. If I click finish I get a null pointer exception.

Any help appreciated. A search of the internet didn't turn up much on
this.
