Try removing the noauto part in the entry for the partiotion you want to mount at boot.

Hello again linux people,
Please bare with the long explanation, my question is near the end. What
I did a while ago, was add a line to /etc/fstab as follows:
/dev/hda1 /win95 vfat
which did what it was supposed to and mounted my windows partion under
/win95/ on boot up, however I soon discovered that it was read only to
normal users. Only root could write to it. So I changed /etc/fstab to
read:
/dev/hda1 /win95 vfat user
Which allowed a user to mount/unmount it, but still didn't give rw
access. I then made it
.... user,rw
But nope, it still is read-only, until I umount and then re- mount it as
a user. So I now have:
.... user,noauto
and everytime (often) I want to access my windows partion I have to
mount it. Is there no way I can mount it on boot up, that its mounted as
user accessible and not as root???
Any thoughts..
--> Ðaniel <dan@xxxxxxxxxxxx>
