If set, terminfo stuff is read from the directory it is set to. If directory does not exist or TERMINFO is not set terminfo stuff will be retreived from /usr/lib/terminfo or /var/lib/terminfo dependent on the OS version. Again this is not where the problem appears to be. I have tried various different terminfo sources from various different UNIX machines with no luck. Every time it beeps at me I want to *bash* it. -------- Regards Theo
