Moritz, I'm not sure about that, and I don't even have my kernel config file here at work to check. At the very least it shouldn't cause any problems on bootup. BTW - you have kept aside your old kernel/initrd configuration as a separate entry in your /etc/lilo.conf, haven't you? While I was trying to get this working, I didn't, and I ended up with a totally unbootable machine. Then Murphy took a hand and decided that both my backup boot stiffie as well as my rescue stiffie were going to be broken (can you say a quick re-install from CD-ROM?) grrrr! Cheers!
