Hi,

Figured it out - all by my lonesome ;-)

I had the updated glib 1.2.3-1 and gtk+ 1.2.3-1 libraries installed whereas
it seems that SO 5.1 'requires' the libraries that came with RedHat 6.0 (I
think 1.2-1). I first 'downgraded' to the original versions, installed SO
5.1 100% OK, and then upgraded these libraries.

Everything seems to still be working OK.

Just thought I'd let everybody know.

Hi,

I have recently downloaded the StarOffice tarred setup file from Sun's Web
pages. Everything seems to be OK, but when I try to install it on my PC, I
keep on getting a Segmentation Fault.

I'm running RedHat 6.0 with various official updates and KDE 1.1.2
(XFree86-SVGA driver on S3 Virge Adapter).

Any help/ideas will be appreciated.
