Quake 1 help needed(mouse doesnt wok)

Its me again Gert.
At last I got my eth0 working(It had a "delaying eth0 .. error), guess how I 
fixed it(The easiests way, flaaten the linux partition, hehe)

And I got a new problem, I downloaded squake(SVGA quake) and everything 
execpt the mouse works. I check the net and some ppl recommended that I 
should edit the svga.conf(I think its called that) in the /etc/vga/ dir. I 
set the mouse to ps/2(Ive got a Genius Netmouse Pro ie ps/2) so its "mouse 
ps2" and not "mouse micro$oft".
It is better now, BUT if I move the mouse the player turns to the left and 
if mlook is on it looks down and turns left(Wierd).

Almost random, and in quake2(SVGA one) it works(It works the best in X with 
X software rendering.

Well, a long e-mail for such a small prob and by-the-way gpm is dead while I 
was trying this("killall gpm"), and it makes no diffs.

Recommendations r o so welcome!!!

Help is needed, caus no quake for me then :((
