IPX collision and nprint filter

The questions below were on comp.os.linux.network, but the original author received no reply.
I have the exact same problem, and maybe a glugger can help.

        I have 2 questions.  My first question is the IPX collision.  I
ipx_congure to the novell3.x network from my redhat4.2.  I did
 
        ipx_configure --auto_interface=on --auto_primary=on

Athough it is successful, and I can slist the network servers.  But I
receive
 
        IPX: network number collision 89524200
             eth0 802.3 and eth0 802.2

Is there any way to fix it.

        My second question is the nprint filter.  I have no problem in ncpmount
to the novell network printer.  But there is a stair case
problem in the printout.  So I like to write a filter to remove the
stair case effect.  How to include the filter to nprint?
