RE: Disgusting Networking problem.

Are you masquerading your IP packets going outside of your Network ???

I know that I had a problem with the "keep-alive" Timers .... I don't know whether it is related ...

Subject: Disgusting Networking problem.

Hi there,

Ok, since I've started running any Red Hat version above 4.1 I've been
getting a strange networking problem.

I use my Linux at work where we are about 4000 nodes connected through a
diginet line to IS. As soon as I've been ftping or surfing to the
outside world for a specific time, communication to Internet or any
Extranets fail, while intranet communication still works fine. This
problem is driving me crazy and the only solution seems to reboot the
machine...

Any help?

Thanx
Alwyn
