Video Streaming

Greetings All

I'm new to GLUG but UNIX literate, so please forgive any protocol
transgressions.

Has anyone done video streaming onto IP using Linux, specifically Redhat ?

Please elaborate on hardware used like the which streaming cards (Osprey ?)
worked and any problems experienced. Most encoder providers want to supply a
complete nt solution. I'll feel much better if it can be done on Linux.
