RE: GLUG: Can it be faked?

Graeme,

It's a micro line. I'm not sure if it can take a NIC. It's a fairly big one,
and it can supply all the equipment in my computer room with about 20
minutes of power, before the battery runs flat.

Rgds,
Kevin

What UPS is it? I recently configured an APC UPS to autoshutdown via a java
app which works on anything with a JVM eg. NT / Linux via the network. You
add a network card to the ups and Bob's your uncle!
