Have you configured your OpenSSH to use both ssh1 and ssh2 protocols?
If you have only configured it for ssh2, putty 0.49 will not work because it only
supports the ssh1 protocol.  If you want putty to be able to support ssh2, you
need to have putty 0.50 or newer.  You can obtain putty 0.51 from:
