First of all I would like to wish one and all an exceptional year, both
work-related and on a personal basis !!!

Now for my question:

I have made up a script that will execute ipchains / ipfwadm commands to set
my firewall. There is a difference in its effect when I run it as a script
file by hand,
compared to when I put those same commands in the rc.local script. Is this
possible ??
Am I going craze !!
