GLUG: GPS Connectivity

Hi All, 

Has anyone tried connecting a GPS to their Linux box. The application I'm
interested in is a Time server, because the time is broadcast via satellite
from GMT, and it should be pretty acurate. 

I've got a Garmin GPS3 Pilot, and I do have the data cable. Under Winblows,
I can update my system clock using the GPS.
