Note the smiley ;-)

Also, who in their right mind would get into a flame war about a Linux
Distro? What's the point?

I started on Slackware and moved to Redhat because it had better
support. I later moved to SuSE because it had more CDs, and stayed
there because I like the way they do business.

The guys who use debian swear by it. I've heard very few bad things
about it, but unfortunately have never used it.

If you think I belong in your killfile, then by all means put me there.
Personally, I like to get to know people better before I make decisions
like that. I regret that you took such offense from a relatively inoffensive
statement (and yes, it was inoffensive), but at the end of the day, you
make your own decisions.

However, by saying you are putting me in yout _twit_ filter implies that
I'm a twit. Wether or not I am is beside the point, it's rude to call
someone names in public. A simple message to me privately would
have had the same effect (unless your intention was to embarass me
with the statement, in which case your only option was to send this
message to the list), but been more polite.

You are also making this personal, something that it's not (unless you
go by the names Mandrake, RedHat or Debian, in which case I
apoligise, I didn't mean to insult you) (that was a joke. Humour.).

Finally, you took offense with my comment "Deal with it". Why?
Wouldn't the list be a better place if people just quietly "dealt" with
things they didn't agree with?

This topic is officially dead. This _topic_ is going into my killfile. As
soon as I create a killfile. Until now I had no need for one. What is the
best way to set up a killfile? Procmail? If you respond to this last
paragraph, please chnge the subject as this subject might be banned
from this computer without further notice.

I don't buy stuff from spammers, and because I live in South Africa
not the US I don't care about your right to free speech in my email.
Sending adverts to my address is pointless and will get your
site (a) onto our "ignore this site's email forever" list PDQ
and (b) a lot of complaints.

Don't bother.
