| What's the deal with Redhat v7.0? |
Hi all, I eventually tracked down the install images for Redhat v7.0 - they're missing from the ftp archive, but they exist on the ISO image. Woohoo - progress...! But then, I get this: [root@watchman images]# dd if=boot.img of=/dev/fd0 dd: /dev/fd0: No space left on device 1441+0 records in 1440+0 records out Huh? The README file in the root of the CD mentions that the boot.img (etc) files are used to do the install, but then neglects to mention how such a boot disk is created. Obviously not like this. Anyone know which other doc file I am supposed to look at (apart from the most obvious ones) to find this information. After watching a loooong thread about RH7 being a disaster on the linux-kernel list I'm thinking that upgrading may not be such a good idea... any thoughts? Regards, Graham --
