| RE: GLUG: 3 button mice |
Get the A4Tech mouse, and use the ps/2 port. Iautomatically set it up as a 3 button mouse, especially the 4D mouse. It's great and the resolution is brilliant. I've been using A4Tech mouse for almost 5 years now, and haven't had any trouble. All the new machines seem to ship with 2 button mice, and the MS mice, while fairly well made are also 2 button mice, which are not as nice for working in X. I seem to have a whack of Mecer mice around, which are 3 button mice, but they are magnets for picking up dirt which adheres nicely to the shafts that are connected to the optical interruptor wheels. As a result, they become unusably jumpy and incredibly frustrating. -- Soren Aalto <soren@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Internet guy, University of Zululand If Bill Gates had a nickel for every time Windows crashed...oh wait, he does. --- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe glug" in the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx If you have a problem unsubscribing, please mail owner-glug@xxxxxxxxxxxx
