RE: GLUG: Is this true?

This is true, although with FreeBSD you can change it in the kernel to any
size. Also i found out how to load kernel modules from the command line with
FreeBSD. The command it kldload n_o_mod for loading, kldunload n_o_mod for
unloading and kldstat to see what modules are loaded. Offcourse the modules
have to be supported in teh kernel before you can load them.

Hi All,

Heard an interesting comment that your average 32 bit *ix is limited
to a file size of 2 GB, whereas a lot of the 64 bit flavors do not
have this problem (such as HP).

Any comments? If this is true then me thinks my opinion is about to
change some what :(

Benjamin
