7/3/00 11:03:58 AM Kmail is the closest thing to Outlook you will get on linux. It is not half bad and the later versions actually work. There is rules in it and a descent interface. Look at it again. The other X mail app to look at is xfmail. http://linuxberg.is.co.za/x11html/preview/019-009-001-009C.html Not that pretty, but it does work. You can extend it to do all kinds of funky stuff and it has mail rules. It is the prefered mail client of a lot of my friends that get large amounts of mail. Also uses a lot less RAM than kmail. If you are willing to use a console client... Use Pine. It is the best out there, IMHO. (Use procmail/fetchmail to filter/get your mail messages from the server) Using text for email has its advantages. A properly configured pine will do all the good stuff. You can specify default image viewers, html browsers, uncompress utilities etc. The best is you can telnet to your box and read the mail on it via a modem/telnet session. regards johan On 7/3/00 10:32:37 AM, Willie has written: >Hi All, > >I am looking for an e-mail reader.
