What's the best method to try this?
Are there RPM's, or does the installation work 'out of the box'.

I use GLX on a Matrox G400. Is the OpenGL acceleration in a usable state in
4.
I can just imagine making *the* most unbelievable mess of my machine trying
to upgrade X without RPM's.

I am using RH6.2.
