Hi all.

Well, I got my father to run Linux.... He's impressed! Thanks for your help
with LILO!

Ok, this may be a little OT, but I was wondering if somebody could tell me
where I could get a "Newbie's Guide to C/C++" (In TXT or PDF if poss). I am
interested in learning this language. Turbo Pascal is great for writing DOS
goodies, but I want to give X-windows stuff a shot.

I have a good idea.... You know the You mag publishes a tips and tricks
section (Once a month or so)? Well, why don't we use that that to advertise for
GLUG and other Linux stuff (Did anybody see .NET June - that's where I heard of
GLUG)? And you also get 50 bucks for anything published! It's a great OS, so
let's give back something to the project (more users, global domination! lol).
What do you guys/girls think?
