Most of us learnt that from a MacGyver TV serious years ago..........
It's older than most of us think.

`credit-card-sized'scanner
At the computer faire, a company was demonstrating such devices, and I
proved there and then how easy they are to cheat. Some talcum powder from my
female acompanyment was lightly sprinkled over the device, making the last
fingerprint stand out quite clearly. Then I simply held a coloured plastic
bag over myhand and pressed down, the devices felt a finger, but scanned the
last print and I was inside the system secconds later.
So much for that Idea.
PS. I learned that trick from a 1993 Wesley Snipes movie - it's not even
new.
