GLUG: ATI Rage mobility chip

Didn't know this topic had been covered before....

If there's a solution, please mail me, as I've just received a brand-spanking
new Compaq E500 PIII-500 128 MB RAM, 8 Meg ATI Rage Mobility card, but it helps
a lot if I can only use MS products...

Hi there,

Someone on the list was having problems (fuzzy vertical lines) with a
notebook with an ATI Rage mobility chip a while back. I can't remember who
this was. I'd just like to know if you got it sorted out as a mate is
looking at a Mecer with one of these cards.
