NEWSFLASH - INTRODUCING SUN DEVELOPER DAY

For the first time in South Africa, Sun Microsystems SA will host a Sun
Developer Day on 26th May at Computer Faire 2000, free of charge.

The Sun Developer Connection programme is free of charge, and aims to help
Sun partners and users realise the full power of partnering with Sun. It
offers easier, earlier, more affordable access to Sun development software
and expertise, enabling members to take full advantage of Sun's market
access and marketing programmes and opens doors to new business
opportunities.

The Sun Developer Day will include talks by experts in XML, Enterprise
JavaBeans and the Java 2 platform, as well as an address by Thomas Hughes,
head of the SDC programme for Europe, Middle East and Africa. 

Attendees will come away with a goodie bag, containing a number of
give-aways, including SDC start-up and connection information, the latest
version of 'free' software suite StarOffice and a copy of Java Jumpstart.
