Yes, you can download email with fetchmail.
 I think the command is something like "fetchmail -k -v -u "
 Note, your pop server address should be configured in your .fetchmailrc
file which
 should also contain your login and password, or you can just use the
fetchmail GUI
called "fetchmailconf"
