        Rh 6.0 distro
        Sis 6326 AGP 8 Meg
 
        Solved the problem by fiddling the XF86Config file:
 
        adding:   
    
Option "noaccel"
Option "fast_ram"
Option "pci_burst_on"
Option "ext_eng_queue"
Option "no_bitblt"
Option "no_imageblt"
Option "sw_cursor"
VideoRam 8192
 
Also visit the redhat site and surf for more detail on this

could you please assist me or point me to a relevant place to find proper installation methods /procedures
 
I also have an unknown monitor type which runs very well under windows 98 on 24 bit true type 640 x 480.
