I'm quite sure there is a loadable module for the RTL8139 ... search for rtl8139.o If you are using LinuxConf it doesn't show up for some reason, so you gotta type it in or add it to conf.modules manually. Beware though ... the realteks, runnig a 10Mb seem to "freak out" if you start transferring large volumes of data ... the tend to get slower and slower 'till you have to ifdown/ifup ethx to get it working properly again. regards, andre > "Plath, Elton E" wrote: > > is Realtek is network card?
