is Realtek is network card? If so use the ne2000 or ne2000pci driver in the kernel configuration

Subject: GLUG: Realerk sriver not in kernel?
Hi, gluggers, me again.
Ok, I managed to get the machine working again, so don't worry about the
previous post. Ok managed to get the new kernel (2.2.14) installed, and it
worked fine after reboot. Only thing is: there is no realtek 8139 driver, or
any realtek for thar matter? Was this generally a probelm with this kernel?
The previous one had it. I did make menuconfig, and it was nowhere to be
found. So I did make xconfig ( in X ), and it was not highlighted. I also
noticed that a lot of stuff wasn't highlighted. Can someone please telll me
if they had the same, and how you fixed it? How would I put the realtek
driver in after the kernel was compiled, and where would I get that driver?
I use Slackware 7, so I'd like to get the source, not an rpm
Thanx yet another time
Rudi
