It could be the file that keeps track of your BIOS's clock's drift has
gone wonky. Try deleting (or renaming, rather ;-) /etc/adjtime, then
reboot (sorry - ya gotta set the BIOS clock directly) and then set the
clock in your BIOS to be right.
That should sort it IF it was the problem.
