You might want to check out the March ish of The Washington Monthly.
The author (damn! I forget his name, and don't have the mag at hand)
gives a pretty good rundown on why Linux is better for users than MS.
He also speculates on the idea of Open Source spreading to other fields
such as law or medicine.  It's a sign that the Open Source concept is
going mainstream.
